Cliff Shaw and Jason Hall met in 2013 while working at Mocavo, Inc., a venture-backed startup focused in the online genealogy space. They quickly realized that they both share a mutual passion for investing. They began discussing and debating their personal investment strategies - doing deep dives on winners and losers - to share and learn from past experience. After years of co-investing together and refining their personal investment philosophies, Cliff and Jason created S&H Capital in 2018.

Jason Hall
Jason is co-founder and managing partner of S&H Capital. He has nearly 2 decades of experience in investing and tech startups. Prior to co-founding S&H Capital, he worked at various venture-backed startups throughout Colorado, Los Angeles, London and Brazil. Jason led teams focused on digital marketing, data science, business intelligence, and operations management.

Cliff Shaw
Cliff is co-founder and partner of S&H Capital. A serial entrepreneur, Cliff has started and sold a half dozen companies throughout his career. In 2011, Cliff founded Mocavo.com in Boulder, CO. Mocavo was the largest free catalog of historical content on the Internet and eventually sold in a significant deal to DC Thompson in 2014. Cliff has spent years investing in private-placement real estate and hedge fund deals.
